A little help for our boys in Afghanistan
Sunspel t-shirts go in Christmas boxes for Guards

We’ve donated 100 of our underwear t-shirts to Christmas boxes which are being sent out to soldiers of the Grenadier Guards, who are patrolling and fighting in the depths of the freezing Afghan winter.

The Christmas initiative, organised by Conde Nast, means boxes of goodies will be arriving for the Guards in time for Christmas. The underwear t-shirts we’ve donated are very good at keeping the cold out, and they’re hard-wearing too, so we hope they’ll help in some small way to make things better for the soldiers stationed in Afghanistan this winter.

  1. I always buy 2 or 3 pairs of your trunks in the Harrods sale each year and in looking at this year’s options I came across your Christmas initiative. As I served in the Grenadier Guards you can imagine how thrilled I was to read what you have done and I am sure everyone in the Battalion in Afghanistan will enormously appreciate your thoughtfulness.
    Thank you

  2. I’m confident Sunspel’s donation to the soldiers in Afghanistan will be greatly appreciated and goes a long way to making their lives easier especially over the Christmas period. Would Sunspel be interested in showing their support by offering a permanent discount for members of the Armed Forces at their store or online?

    • Sunspel’s reply: That sounds like a very interesting idea, Rob. We’re currently looking into the best way to make that happen, and we’ll announce on the website what we come up with.
