Sunspel’s 007 Riviera polo shirt was the one worn by Sean Connery in the very early films. It’s a nice piece in that it’s not your usual John Smedley or Lacoste; it’s a perforated, soft polo shirt. It looks great in black or dark colours. When the wardrobe researchers were coming up with a wardrobe for Daniel Craig’s Bond they found that Sunspel had made the original and promptly commissioned a modern version. You don’t get much more ‘classic British’ than that.
