Sunny spells have brought delight to London today, so what better excuse to highlight the recent store opening of English clothing company Sunspel’s first eponymous store. Found on the corner of Redchurch and Boundary streets in Shoreditch, the new shop houses the latest collection from the label that launched in 1860 in a fully restored Victorian building. Points to the brands 150 year history are referenced in the store’s layout – one fun example of which is the fact that Levi’s 501s are sold alongside Sunspel white boxers to commemorate the iconic Levi’s advert featuring a model in a laundrette who removed his 501s for washing to reveal… some dazzling white Sunspel boxers.
Sunspel, 7 Redchurch Street, London, E2.
