Introducing Sunspel loungewear

This is for all who practice the art of relaxation. Because if you’re going to relax, you might as well relax properly. And here’s how to dress for the occasion.

Our new range of loungewear is designed to make you feel cosy and liberated all at the same time. It’s easy lavishness for a laid-back day. But, as you’d expect, we’ve cut no corners here.

The fabrics are the finest we can find for the job – they are not only luxuriously soft but also wear well and hold their shape. We’ve used 100% finest cotton and also a cotton-linen mix (55% cotton, 45% linen). Both are unusually high quality for this kind of garment. The cotton-linen is particularly good for lounging around in when the weather gets hot.

For the design we’ve paid our usual attention to the details. First, the cut: loose and roomy, so you won’t be punished if you curl up on the sofa. Around the waist there’s a covered waistband and a drawstring tie, so you can adjust the level of looseness to suit. Feel free to let it out after meals.

There’s a covered fly, and the front pockets are seam pockets, meaning they’re sewn neatly into the seam rather than being patch pockets sewn onto the outside (which is what the single back pocket is).

The trousers come in a range of laid-back colours, including a rich plain indigo, cream with an indigo stripe, and an indigo check. Try them with our white t-shirt – they’ll go beautifully.

The new Sunspel loungewear range is part and parcel of what we do best: focusing on the basics, but doing them in anything but a basic way.
