Where do Sunspel deliver?

We deliver to most of Europe as well as many countries elsewhere in the world. Here’s the list:

UK: including Channel Islands, Isle of Man.
 
Europe: Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Cyprus, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Gibraltar, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Monaco, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and Vatican City.
 
The rest of the world: Antigua, Australia, Bahamas, Bahrain, Barbados, Canada, Cayman Islands, Fiji, Hong Kong, Israel, Jamaica, Japan, Jordan, Korea, Kuwait, Malaysia, New Zealand, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, South Africa, United Arab Emirates, United States and Virgin Islands.

How much does delivery cost and how long will it take?

This depends on where you live and how quickly you want your order. We do everything to keep our prices down and we’d love to offer free delivery, but then we would have to absorb those costs elsewhere and the price of our clothes would go up.

What if I’m not in when you make a delivery?

Our couriers HDN will leave a calling card with contact details explaining how you can get your parcel. 

Can you guarantee to deliver on time?

We do everything we can to make sure deliveries take place when we say they will. Sometimes, though, things beyond our control delay delivery. If the delivery is going to be delayed, we’ll email to apologise and tell you of the new delivery schedule.

Note that things get very busy here during our sale period so it takes us longer to prepare and pack orders. Please be patient with us and add a further 5 working days to our standard delivery timescales.

What happens if my order comes over two deliveries – am I expected to pay postage twice?

No, you only pay one lot of postage per order, regardless of how many parcels we send out to you.

Can I give you a different address for delivery?

Yes of course. Sometimes you aren’t at home to receive your parcel, so if it suits you better give us an alternative address – for example, your work address.

Returns & Exchanges

What’s your return policy?

We love our clothes dearly and we find they only get better the longer we wear them. But we don’t like the thought of anyone keeping a Sunspel garment when they don’t want it. So if for any reason at all you want to return something, you can do so within three months of purchase.

It doesn’t matter whether you’ve tried the garment on or not. We’ll give you a full refund or exchange the item. We don’t refund the original postage and packaging charge, but if you just want us to exchange the item then you don’t pay any postage for the replacement.

There are only two exceptions to our three month guarantee:

  • During the SALE we have a seven day return policy.
  • For UNDERWEAR we ask that you return products to us within 14 days from shipping date. We will be happy to refund or exchange underwear products provided they are in perfect condition, unworn, and in their original packaging.

How do I return or exchange something?

Just follow the instructions on the packing slip enclosed with your order, which includes a guide to the cost of postage required to return your goods and a detachable label with our address on it. Please complete and enclose the Returns Form indicating whether you would like an exchange or a refund.

If you no longer have the packaging slip just send us a brief note with your name, address, postcode and contact number. Make sure you tell us whether you would like an exchange or refund. It would also be helpful if you could tell us why you are returning the item so that we can understand better what our customers want.

(If you are returning a gift, please remember to include the buyer’s name and address as well as yours.)

When you return goods, we strongly recommend you ask for a proof of postage in case the parcel goes missing on its way back to us.

We always try to deal with returns as soon as they arrive. However, during really busy periods, please allow up to 28 days for your return or exchange to be processed. Please note that refunds for items bought as gifts can only be given to the original payer, and if you decide to swap an item, we can’t stop the payer knowing. Sorry.

You may return online orders to our London store, however please be aware these will only be sent onwards to Long Eaton for processing.

There’s no need to call us to tell us you’ve returned the parcel. Just send all returns to:

Payment

All orders placed in pounds sterling (£) and sent within the European Union will be subject to VAT (Value Added Tax). This is charged at the prevailing UK rate, currently 17.5%.

Orders sent outside the European Union or to BFPO addresses may be subject to import taxes.

Which credit/debit cards do you accept?

We currently accept Switch, Visa, Delta, Maestro, Mastercard and Amex. Payment online is in a secure environment. We’re sorry but we don’t accept Diners Club, Discover or Solo cards.

All card transactions are handled through Sage Pay who operate a 128-bit SSL encrypted system. Sage Pay is scanned quarterly by Trustwave which are an independent Qualified Security Assessor (QSA) and an Approved Scanning Vendor (ASV) for the payment card brands. Sage Pay is also audited annually under the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI DSS) and is a fully approved Level 1 payment services provider, which is the highest level of compliance.

What if I get a customs charge?

If you’re ordering from outside the European Union your order may incur additional import duties and taxes (not covered by Sunspel) and may be affected by customs delays.

I believe my card may have been used fraudulently to purchase goods from Sunspel.

It’s unlikely to happen given our secure procedures, but if a transaction does take place involving fraudulent use of your card on our site, you should first of all contact your credit or debit card company so that they can take the necessary steps to protect your card and reimburse you.

You can rely on us to work with the credit card company to minimise any unnecessary hassle for you.
