RETURNS AND EXCHANGES

We love our clothes, but we don’t want anyone to keep a Sunspel garment if they don’t want it. So if for any reason at all you want to return something, you can do so within three months of delivery.

It doesn’t matter whether you’ve tried the garment on or not (except for underwear – see below). We’ll give you a full refund or exchange the item. We don’t refund the original postage and packaging charge, but if you just want us to exchange the item then you don’t pay any postage for the replacement.

There are only two exceptions to our three-month guarantee:

  • During the SALE we have a seven-day return policy for all goods bought on the site.
  • For UNDERWEAR we ask that you return products to us within 14 days of shipping date.We will be happy to refund or exchange underwear provided they are in perfect condition, unworn, and in their original packaging.

Follow the instructions on the packing slip enclosed with your order, which includes a guide to the cost of postage and a detachable label with our address on it. Please complete and enclose the Returns Form indicating whether you would like an exchange or a refund.

If you no longer have the packaging slip, just send us a brief note with your name, address, postcode and contact number. Make sure you tell us whether you would like an exchange or refund. It would also be helpful if you could tell us why you are returning the item so that we can get a better idea of what our customers want.

(If you are returning a gift, please remember to include the buyer’s name and address as well as yours.)

When you return goods, we strongly recommend you ask for a proof of postage in case the parcel goes missing on its way back to us.

We always try to deal with returns as soon as they arrive. However, during really busy periods, please allow up to 28 days for your return or exchange to be processed. Note that refunds for items bought as gifts can only be given to the original payer, and if you decide to swap an item, we can’t stop the payer from finding out. Sorry.

You may return online orders to our London store, however please be aware these will be sent on to Long Eaton for processing – so while this may be more convenient for you and there won’t be a postage charge, there will be a delay in processing.

There’s no need to call or email us to tell us you’ve returned the parcel.

Even if your order arrives in two packages you only pay for one lot of postage per order, regardless of how many parcels we send out to you.

TRACKING YOUR ORDER

When your order is despatched from our warehouse, you will receive an email from our courier confirming the tracking number and a link to their website for you to check its progress. This is in addition to your despatch confirmation from Sunspel.

IF YOU AREN’T IN WHEN THE DELIVERY ARRIVES

Your order will require a signature on delivery therefore you will receive an email on the day of delivery from our courier. If you are not available to receive the goods, you will be left a note explaining how you can re-book the delivery.
