SUNSPEL HAS EVOLVED FROM TEXTILE MANUFACTURER TO SPECIALIST MAKER OF BEAUTIFULLY ENGINEERED CLOTHES.

Sunspel originated in Nottingham in 1860 under its founder’s name, Thomas Hill. The company supplied the British Empire with high quality underwear and soon established a fine reputation for producing lisle cotton undershirts, singlets and tunics. Its principles of comfort, detail and quality have been carefully retained and it is this unconventional connection between past and future that is largely responsible for Sunspel’s unique aesthetic.
