It’s worth spending a few minutes to get your size right.
Please double-check your measurements then consult the size charts on the right, divided between our different kinds of clothing. Notes about the particular fit and cut of different garments will help you decide if you want to opt for a more or less snug fit.
If you are between sizes, choose a larger or a smaller size depending on how snug you like to be, but if in doubt go larger to be sure the garment will fit.
Note that there’s a small natural variance of about 1cm in the width and length of the garment, a result of tiny variations in the fabric and the process of making them by hand. Garments also shrink a little when you wash them, and then stretch back to their previous size as you wear them. (But do follow the washing instructions to avoid excessive shrinking.)
Different bodies have different shapes, so choosing the size can never be an exact science. However, once you know your body measurements you’ll be able to order clothes from us that fit as they were designed to.
Knowing Your Own Size
To be accurate it’s best to measure yourself in your underwear and barefoot. If someone can do it for you it will be easier, but if you do it yourself we suggest taking each measurement two or three times to allow for errors. Avoid pulling the tape measure too tightly or allowing it to be slack.
Chest:
Measure the broadest part of your chest. With arms at your sides (as far as possible), measure under your armpits and around your chest and shoulder blades.
Waist:
Measure around your body where your waistband or belt normally sits.
Sleeve length:
With elbow bent, measure from the top of the arm at the shoulder point to the wrist.
Inside leg:
Measure from the top of your inside leg at the crotch to the ankle bone.

Men’s T-Shirts, Polo Shirts, Loopback Hoodies and Sweat Tops
Our standard t-shirts are a close fit, although not tight. Polo shirts are looser, with the pique polo a little wider than the more body-hugging, lighter fabric of the jersey polo. Our Loopback hoodies and sweat tops are designed to be a relatively slim, tailored fit in comparison with most hoodies and sweat tops.
If you like a more relaxed fit, go up a size.

Men’s Underwear / Thermal / Drawstring Trousers
Our underwear is cut to be roomy without being too loose, except for the Q90 Stretch range which is more fitted for enhanced body definition. If your size falls between two sizes, choose the larger or smaller depending upon how snugly you like your underwear to fit.
Q82 Superfine underwear t-shirts are a slightly looser and longer fit than our outerwear t-shirts, while Q90 Stretch underwear t-shirts are shorter and more fitted.
Please note, Extra Small (XS) is for the Superfine range only. There is no XXL for the Stretch or Merino range.
