In 2011, Sunspel was asked to recreate the iconic swim shorts worn by Sean Connery in his role as James Bond in Thunderball for the ‚ÄòDesigning 007: Fifty years of Bond Style' exhibition at London‚`s Barbican. We spent months researching traditional swimwear and added a modern design sensibility to create our first swim short. Crafted from a printed polyester in a modern matte finish, the Sunspel swim short is Riviera chic reborn.

The classic swim short is now available in a new range of prints. We‚Äö`ve taken classic Hawaiian floral fabrics and given them an English twist by dropping in oak leaves.
