The company is based in Long Eaton, near Nottingham, in the factory we have occupied for the best part of a century. We continue to draw on the traditional clothing techniques and expertise of the Nottingham area where the company was founded back in 1860. We also have offices in London, where the marketing, online and wholesale team reside.

Customer Service Advisor (Long Eaton, Nottingham)

The Role

The role of Customer Service Advisor is essential in providing an excellent shopping and service experience to all our customers. The Customer Services Advisor will work within a team to ensure accurate, on time and safe delivery of all orders, as well as driving sales and answering customer enquiries via phone, email and live chat. It is vital that we not only ensure that all orders are delivered promptly and correctly, but that we make customer satisfaction a priority at all time. 

Responsibilites

  • Provide excellent customer service is a pivotal part of this role. You will place orders, process exchanges and refunds, and answer any questions all in a prompt, courteous and efficient manner.
  • You will communicate with customers via the phone, email, live chat.
  • Work with the warehouse can carriers to ensure that the customer has the best delivery experience.
  • Aid with the supervising and maintaining of the customers online shopping journey, ensuring imagery, descriptions, FAQ’s and content are correct.
  • Look to where at all possible establishing long-term relationships with key customers based on data about their preferences, behaviours and purchases.
  • Fraud checking and processing all orders that come through the website.
  • Process returns and refunds in a timely manner.
  • Confidently liaising with members of the team from other departments, including merchandising, marketing, production and store retail staff.

Experience and skills

  • Proven track record of working effectively and efficiently within a customer service or ecommerce environment.
  • Experience with an online luxury retailer would be beneficial.
  • Good administration and numerical skills.
  • Excellent IT skills, including Outlook and Microsoft.
  • Experience with using Zendesk.
  • Passionate about your work with a ‘can-do’ attitude.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Well organised, systematic and logical.
  • Highly motivated with a disciplined approach to problem solving.

Production Assistant (Long Eaton, Nottingham)

The Role

The role of Production Assistant is integral to the smooth running of the Production Department. You will be working with the Production Director to purchase all raw materials from fabrics to trims, liaising directly with suppliers and chasing orders for critical delivery dates. Assisting with the Shipping & Logistics (Import & Export). Ensuring all products are delivered in a timely manner in line with the Critical path.

Responsibilites

  • Daily communication to problem solve any questions for suppliers as well as internal cross functional partners.
  • Issue bulk purchase orders via system; double-check via buy/PO/allocated to make sure PO matches bought quantity.
  • Weekly production reports to be created detailing deliveries by supplier for regular bi-weekly meetings.
  • Fabric and trim ordering to ensure we receive on time.   
  • Maintaining the critical path to ensure all key dates meet customer requirements/deadlines.

Experience and skills

  • 2 years’ experience ideally in a production clothing environment. 
  • A natural ability to multi-task with strict adherence to deadlines.
  • High level of communication experience with overseas suppliers and/or factories.
  • Must be detail oriented and possess strong time management and organisational skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft packages, particularly Word and Excel.
  • Eagerness and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, driven by teamwork and collaborative innovation.
  • Relevant qualification in Fashion and Textiles, Fashion Technology or related subject or equivalent practical attainment or experience.

Wholesale Administrator (Long Eaton, Nottingham)

The Role

The role of Wholesale Administrator is essential in providing an excellent service to all of our Wholesale customers. We ship worldwide and the role of Wholesale Administrator will work within our existing team to ensure all orders are processed and delivered on time and in full. This is a varied role that requires accuracy, excellent time management and a flexible approach in working practices.

Responsibilites

  • Be responsible for the input, maintenance, shipping and any subsequent returns of orders for Wholesale accounts and ensuring we adhering to any bespoke requirements.
  • Liaise with the Finance team to ensure credit terms are met and invoices are paid in full and on time.
  • Monitor, review and allocate stock to ensure all orders are fulfilled.
  • Maintain a high standard of account administration and housekeeping, paying attention to any specific customer and shipping requirements.
  • Utilise and help to maintain our B2B system.
  • Develop strong relationships with the sales teams, internal stakeholders and Wholesale accounts.
  • Contribute ideas and show initiative in continually improving work processes to achieve greater efficiency.

Experience and skills

  • Previous experience in customer service/order management role, with strong relationship management skills.
  • Excellent and accurate verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good level of IT skills, with a full understanding and experience of using Microsoft Office, including Excel.
  • Close attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to balance team and individual tasks, whilst appropriately managing priorities.
  • Excellent planning and organisation skills, with proven ability to work to deadlines.
  • Professional approach at all times.
  • Ability to work as a team and independently, with a positive 'can do' attitude.
  • Willing to adapt & be flexible to take on new challenges, with a willingness to learn new skills.

  • Experience of overseas shipping and production of appropriate paperwork.
