How would you describe your style?
A perfect blend between essential clothing and contemporary menswear movements within the fashion industry. It’s clean and very referential of my idea of the modern man when it comes to style. Understanding and paying homage to what came before and being conscious enough to make it your own in the present.

Who are your style icons?
I seem to consistently reference Tom Ford. I also really adore Bruno Mars. Adore is understated in this context. More like, obsessed.

What’s your most important wardrobe essential?
This is a very difficult question. A lot of my wardrobe is essential in its own way. Perhaps knitwear or a nice jacket that makes me feel confident and sexy.

What luxuries do you value in life?
Love, time and synchronized social interaction.

How has the year of lockdowns affected you?
I’ve been in this realm where in every situation, I am aware of myself and how I really feel about things. It has been a crucial time for self reflection and I am still on that journey of making sure I realize that there is more than meets the eye. I have been in a more relaxed state of mind wanting to learn more and surprise myself mentally and physically. It hasn’t been an awful time for me. I do miss social interactions as they once were and the excitement of feeling like you’re actively accomplishing something new everyday. Otherwise, this is fine. Things could be much worse.

What is your go-to Sunspel piece?
I have to say, the Sunspel superfine cotton t-shirt is unlike anything I own. It’s the softest undergarment and it’s so perfectly cut to my body type.

How did you style your Sunspel look?
The lockdown has inspired this whole new wave of loungewear in my life which is why I selected the pyjama set. I wanted something relaxed but also with a color scheme and look that would read otherwise if it needed to. Hence the reason I styled the set with a turtleneck and tassel loafers. Versatility is key for me when deciding to invest in a piece. I can go out in this look, and I can also fall asleep in it. It’s a beautiful canvas.

How would you describe your style?
I always describe my style as casual while mixing in trendier or statement pieces every now and then. In the summer, I really am inspired by 1950's resort style: knitted polos, camp collar shirts, loose linen trousers. Think The Talented Mr Ripley plus bold printed camp collar shirts and tie dye.

Who are your style icons?
Even though he's fictional, Dickie Greenleaf from Talented Mr Ripley. I love Harry Styles and the way he mixes and matches prints and silhouettes. I love the late photographer Peter Beard and his timeless style as well - the perfect balance of rugged, preppy and contemporary.

What’s your most important wardrobe essential?
In the winter, a great chunky cable knit sweater is essential. In the summer, having a perfect fitting white tee, camp collar shirt and a great pair of swim trunks is vital.

What luxuries do you value in life?
For me, the luxuries I value the most are experiences, specifically travel. I've been fortunate enough to have traveled all over the world for fun and work and I don't ever take that for granted.

How has the year of lockdowns affected you?
As someone that was always go-go-go, lockdown really forced me to do nothing and not feel guilty about just relaxing or doing something that wasn't ‘productive’. I went on long bike rides, did workouts on my roof, read a ton of books and had long phone conversations with friends and family. If lockdown taught me anything it's that you can't really plan anything and as much as you want to be in control, you aren't. Life is unpredictable and your situation can change in a blink of an eye. Learn that new skill you've been wanting to learn, take that trip you've been waiting to take, take more risks and live like you may not have tomorrow...

What is your go-to Sunspel piece?
Sunspel’s magic is in the details. Their pieces aren't showy or trying to grab your attention - truly understated luxury! My Sunspel sweaters I've had for two or three years still look like I just purchased them. No pilling, no fading and no stretching or shrinking. My go-to Sunspel piece is definitely the chunky off-white cable knit I have from last season – it's such a beautiful sweater and my most asked about item whenever I wear it.

How did you style your Sunspel look?
I chose to wear the Sea Island cotton tee under the full zip navy sweater with black jeans. I like how the white popped with the darker tones. I loved this look as I could easily take off the sweater and just have the white tee and black jeans for a super simple yet elevated look. When styling a simple look that I always like to tuck the tee in the front for something a bit more unique and elevated.

How would you describe your style?
Clean, elegant and understated.

Who are your style icons?
Cary Grant, Ryan Gosling, Ralph Lauren.

What’s your most important wardrobe essential?
A staple sweater. One that looks just as good paired with denim and sneakers as it does with dress trousers and loafers or a suit.

What luxuries do you value in life?
In a year filled with more isolation and solitude than most of us have ever experienced, the luxury of human connection has become invaluable.

How has the year of lockdowns affected you?
The past year has taught me to slow down and live more intentionally in the moment; not to take time for granted.

What is your go-to Sunspel piece?
Definitely the cotton cable knit jumper, but the Sea Island cotton sweatshirt is a close second. Understated luxury is key to my personal style, and that’s exactly what Sunspel delivers.

How did you style your Sunspel look?
With the navy color theme and spring season in mind, I wanted to create a look that was versatile and comfortable, yet polished. The Sea Island cotton sweatshirt immediately caught my eye - it’s understanded yet luxurious - and the breathable Travel Wool drawstring trousers are a natural fit for the warm weather trips ahead. The cotton drill denim jacket provides a more contemporary top-layer alternative to the traditional jean jacket.
