This archive-inspired French knicker features a unique scallop stitching along its edges that references delicate underwear styles from Sunspel’s past. The short sits mid-waist and has a full, loose cut leg with a classic straight hem.
The 1937 French knicker uses cotton spun just outside of Manchester at the first new cotton mill to open in England in over 50 years, before being knitted and dyed in Leicester and finally arriving at our Long Eaton factory.
Pair it with the matching 1937 Cami to complete the set.
The 1937 Collection celebrates 80 years of our Long Eaton factory, recreating garments from our archive using soft, natural cotton from English industry specialists.
