The company is based in Long Eaton, near Nottingham, in the factory we have occupied for the best part of a century. We continue to draw on the traditional clothing techniques and expertise of the Nottingham area where the company was founded back in 1860. We also have offices in London, where the marketing, online and wholesale team reside.

Retoucher – Full Time
The Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join our photography team. The role of Retoucher will be based in our photography studio in Long Eaton, Nottingham. The team work across departments to create high quality imagery for our unique brand identity. Working with the Head of Photography and the Senior Retoucher, the Retoucher will work closely with the Senior Retoucher to work to the critical deadlines within a busy, fast paced studio environment. They will ensure all assets are retouched to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities
- To work closely with the Senior Retoucher to make sure that all assets are retouched to a high standard and to tight deadlines.
- Retouching of different kinds of imagery to a high standard within a set time frame.
- Ownership of checking individual product imagery on our website. Ensuring each product is up to date and be able to make reactive changes.
- Maintain the organisation of our photography assets and keep this updated.
- Assist the Head of Photography & the Senior Retoucher with general everyday tasks to help manage the photography studio and the imagery it provides.
- Any other ad hoc projects as requested by your Line Manager.
Experience and skills
- Proactive, driven, highly organised person with an eye for detail.
- Passionate about your work with a ‘can-do’ attitude.
- Well organised, systematic, and logical.
- Able to change focus and move between projects daily.
- Hghly motivated with a disciplined approach to problem solving.
- Ability to work on own initiative and manage own time.
- Understanding of working to critical dates and deadlines.
- Excellent IT skills, Microsoft Office and Excel.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Advance knowledge of Photoshop and Creative Suite is essential.
- Experience of working with Shopify and Capture One is beneficial.
- Knowledge of video editing is beneficial.
- Relevant degree or experience in this field.
- Interest in clothes and fashion desirable.
- Full driving license desirable.

Key Responsibilities
- Managing the store and employees, creating a positive and motivational environment, encouraging them to generate sales and provide exceptional customer service
- Exceeding store and personal targets and KPIs
- Ensuring the store is always presentable and according to merchandising standards
- Analysing sales and key performance indicators and taking the required actions to drive these
- Reaching out and maintaining a good relationship with local businesses and neighbours
- Administrative duties such as reporting daily sales figures to head office, organising the staff rota and payroll
- Responsible for hiring and team development
- Responsible for store stock management
- Responsible for driving store marketing and VIP client relationships

- Minimum of 2 years retail experience
