The Loopback Sweatshirt refines the familiar form of athletic sportswear through fabric, cut and detail.
Introduced to the collection by former Sunspel creative director Jonathan Anderson, it is made from high-quality cotton loopback fabric developed for warmth and comfort without bulk. Traditional details like the V-stitch neck and ribbed cuffs reference classic sportswear, while the neat fit allows it to be worn easily on its own or under a jacket.

Why the Sunspel Loopback Sweatshirt is different
The sweatshirt takes its name from its fabric. Loopback has small loops on the inside that trap warm air, so it keeps you warm without bulk.
Loopback began as underwear fabric, a form of thermal underwear, before athletic wear took it up. Sunspel has made underwear since 1860, and the original fabric is still in its archive.
The sweatshirt keeps two traditional sportswear details: a V-stitch insert at the neck and ribbed trims.
